The output and error options (
-o,
-oo,
-e, and
-eo) of the
bsub and
bmod commands can accept a file name or directory path. LSF creates the standard output and standard error files in this directory. If you specify only a directory path, job output and error files are created with unique names based on the job ID so that you can use a single directory for all job output, rather than having to create separate output directories for each job.
Note: The directory path can contain up to 4094 characters for UNIX and Linux, or up to 255 characters for Windows.
