Kill a job (bkill)

You can cancel a job from running or pending by killing it.

About this task

If your job is part of a job group, the command bkill only kills jobs in the job group you specify. It does not kill jobs in lower level job groups in the path.

Procedure

To kill job 3421:

bkill 3421

Use the -g option of bkill and specify a job group path to terminate jobs in a job group. For example:
```
bkill -g /risk_group 106
```
Use job ID 0 (zero) to terminate all jobs in a job group:
```
bkill -g /risk_group 0
```
