Central DTU HPC Cluster (LSF 10)


The central DTU HPC cluster is a general compute resource for staff and students at DTU to use.

The Central cluster contains a number of different hardware components:

4 x Lenovo ThinkSystem SD630 V2

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Gold 6342 (24 core, 2.8 GHz)
  • 512GB memory (16 x 32GB DDR4-3200)
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 10 GBit-Ethernet
  • 480 GB SSD

28 x Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Gold 6226R (16 core, 2.90GHz)
  • 11 x 384GB memory (12 x 32GB DDR4-2933)
  • 17 x 768 GB memory (12 x 64GB DDR4-2933)
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 10 GBit-Ethernet
  • 480 GB SSD

24 x Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Gold 6126 (12 core, 2.60GHz)
  • 2 x 192GB memory (12 x 16 GB DDR4-2400)
  • 21 x 384GB memory (12 x 32 GB DDR4-2400)
  • 1 x 768 GB memory (12 x 64 GB DDR4-2400)
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 10 GBit-Ethernet
  • 480 GB SSD

In total:

  • 576 Cores

4 x Lenovo ThinkSystem SD530

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Gold 6142 (16 core, 2.60GHz)
  • 384 GB memory (12 x 32 GB DDR4-2666)
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 10 Gbit-Ethernet
  • 480 GB SSD

  • 128 Cores

30 x Huawei XH620 V3

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor 2650v4 (12 core, 2.20GHz)
  • 256 GB memory (16 x 16 GB DDR4-2666)
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 480 GB-SSD disk

In total:

  • 720 Cores

6 x Huawei XH620 V3

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor 2650v4 (12 core, 2.20GHz)
  • 512 GB memory (16 x 32 GB DDR4-2400)
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 480 GB-SSD disk

In total:

  • 144 Cores

47 x Huawei XH620 V3

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor 2660v3 (10 core, 2.60GHz)
  • 128 GB memory
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 1 TB-SATA disk

In total:

  • 940 Cores

We also have a few machines with AMD-Processors, which are not part of the general HPC-queue, but have their own queues.
