The Application nodes are designed to run the various software and applications available at the GBar databars. They are meant to be for general access to all students.
The cluster consists of 15 application nodes in total.
They are currently equipped with:

- 2 Sockets x 10 core Intel Xeon E5-2660v3 – Huawei XH620 V3
- 128 GB memory
- FDR-Infiniband
- 1 TB-SATA disk
7 nodes with
- 2 Sockets x 14 Core Intel Xeon E5-2670v3Â – Dell PowerEdge FC430
- 256 GB RAM
- 400 GB SSD for OS and applications
- FDR-Infiniband
All nodes are installed with Scientific Linux 7.9
