steno nodes


The steno resources, owned by some research groups at DTU Chemistry, are organized in different queues, based on the hardware specifications and access limitations.
There are three queues:

steno

It consists of the following nodes:

4 x Lenovo SD530

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Gold 6230 (20 core, 2.10GHz)
  • 384 GB memory
  • 3 x 480 GB SSD
  • FDR-Infiniband
  • 2 of the nodes with 4 x 128 GB Optane Memory

4 x Lenovo nx360 M5 

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor X2660v3  (10 core, 2.60GHz)
  • 2 nodes with 128 GB memory and 2 nodes with 256 GB memory
  • 1 TB HDD
  • FDR-Infiniband

8 x HPE SL390s Gen9 

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor X5650 (6 core, 2.67GHz)
  • 48 GB memory
  • 1 TB HDD
  • QDR-Infniband

stenogpu

Each user can use up to 8 GPUs. It consists of the following nodes:

4 x Dell PowerEdge T620,

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor E5-2609v2 (4 core, 2.50GHz)
  • 64 GB memory
  • 3 of the nodes have 3x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 5.2
  • 1 of the nodes have 3x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 3.5
  • 8 cores / 3 GPUs – please use maximum 2 cores per requested GPU to be able to utilize all GPUs

In total:

  • 32 Cores, 12 GPUs

1 x Lenovo SD530,

Each node is configured with:

  • 2x Intel XeonGold6242 (16 core, 2.80GHz)
  • 384 GB memory
  • 2 x Nvidia Tesla V100 32GB, CUDA capability 7.0
  • 32 cores / 2 GPUs – please use maximum 16 cores per requested GPU to be able to utilize all GPUs

In total:

  • 32 Cores, 2 GPUs

stenopippi

Each user can use up to 14 GPUs. It consists of the following nodes:

1 x Dell PowerEdge T620,

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor E5-2609v2 (4 core, 2.50GHz)
  • 64 GB memory
  • 2x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 6.1
  • 1x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 5.2
  • 8 cores / 3 GPUs – please use maximum 2 cores per requested GPU to be able to utilize all GPUs

2 x Dell PowerEdge T630,

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor E5-2609v3 (6 core, 1.90GHz)
  • 64 GB memory
  • 4x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 5.2
  • 12 cores / 4 GPUs – please use maximum 3 cores per requested GPU to be able to utilize all GPUs

1 x Dell PowerEdge T630,

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor E5-2609v4 (8 core, 1.70GHz)
  • 64 GB memory
  • 4x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 6.1
  • 16 cores / 4 GPUs – please use 2-4 cores per requested GPU to be able to utilize all GPUs

1 x Dell PowerEdge T640,

  • 2x Intel Xeon Processor Silver 4110 (8 core, 2.10GHz)
  • 64 GB memory
  • 4x Nvidia GPUs, CUDA capability 6.1
  • 16 cores / 4 GPUs – please use 2-4 cores per requested GPU to be able to utilize all GPUs
